Linksys SPA921 Configuration Guide

The following instructions assume your phone has successfully booted and completed network configuration including obtaining valid IP addresses for itself, an IP gateway and DNS servers either via DCHP, manual or other means, that your phone is running with factory defaults. Before starting please perform a factory reset.

Get Started:

Manual Install via Web Interface

1.)    Connect the network cable and power supply.

2.)    After the unit has powered up, press the i button and scroll down to item 9 on the menu list. This option will display the phone's IP Address. Open up a web browser on a local PC and type in http://[PHONES IP ADDRESS]/admin/advanced and press enter.

3.)    Click on the Ext 1 tab and configure your account details.

    Set Proxy to: ipvpbx.com
    Set Use Outbound Proxy to: No
    Set Register to: Yes

4.)    On the same page, set up your Subscriber Information.

    Set User ID:
    For Residential Service use : +1<<10 digit number>>  Ex +13055555555)
    For vPBX Service use: +1<<10digitnumber + ext>>  Ex+13055555555-201)
    Set Password: Use the one you provided during account creation.
    Set Use Auth ID to: Yes
    Set Auth ID to same as User ID

5.)    Click Save at the bottom of the page and Reboot your device
